Painting siloxane-based

It is a mineral coloured low-thick-layered paint, in paste ready to use, conceived for the finishing, decoration and protection of interior and exterior facades. It is composed of micronized aggregates, inorganic pigments and specific admixtures, all bound with resins acryli-siloxane.

Description

CHARACTERISTICS

It is a transpiring product, resistant to chemical and atmospheric agents, moulds, algae and fungus attacks, low and high temperatures, excellent stability to water-vapour over time.

It is compliant to the low EN 15457 (fungus development resistance) and EN 15458 (algae development resistance).

APPLICATION FIELDS

Thanks to its excellent bonding, coating, transpiring and waterproofing properties, it is suitable for the finishing on concrete, both for old and new buildings, and any kind of plaster.

All the substrates on which it will be applied have to be finished for civil purposes, mineral base employable also on faced concretes and fibre-cements. In case of facade, avoid the application in different times and in substrates which are irregular.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

SUBSTRATES PREPARATION

Substrates have to be without detaching, crumbling or damaged parts, oil, grease, dust or saltpetre. Any eventual crumbling substrate need to be strengthened with Albusil Consolidante before the product application. Eventual patches have to be coherent with the kind of pre-existing material. Verify that traces of old paintings are perfectly attached. Before the application of Super al Quarzo ai Silossani all the substrates have to be treated with the fixative Primar Silox of Plastimur srl.

PRODUCT PREPARATION

Dilute the product with clean water, each drums lt 13 with lt 4 of water, about the 30% for the first coat and the 18-23% for the second one.

APPLICATION

It is applied in two or more coats with brush or roller after the application of Primar Silox. To avoid eventual recovery or colours overlapping, mark with adhesive tapes (as gummed), surfaces you want to decorate. Immediately after the material laying, in order to obtain clean cut, it is suggested to detach the tape before the product hardening.
