CHARACTERISTICS

This is a fiberglass mesh, foamed, ladderproof, alkali resistant, suitable for reinforced smoothing or for facades recovery, or for the thermal insulating system; it distributes in a uniform way the tensions to which the system can be subjected (thermal surges, shrinkage, mechanical stress), improving the tensile strength and the abrasion resistance.

APPLICATION FIELDS

It is used like reinforced armor for skim coats (Rasocem KR), during the execution of panels smoothing for the thermal insulating system.

PRAPARATION

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

The substrates preparation and conditions, are the base for a good final work; the substrate must be cement-base, clay bricks, insulating panels etc.; they must be strong, dry and perfectly cured; free of greases, dusts, humidity, saltpeter and everything that can make difficult the adhesion.

PRODUCT PREPARATION

Product ready to use.

MESH APPLICATION

Apply the mesh on the concerned surface with a notched trowel on the first smoothing coat, and later with a metal trowel. After one day, at least, apply the second smoothing coat in order to allow the perfect mesh coverage, that in the final parts on the edges must be overcame for 8/10 cm at least.
