Description

CHARACTERISTICS

It is a low-thick-layered paint, monocomponent, transpiring, for the protection and decoration of interior and exterior surfaces, high resistance to atmospheric agents, composed of potassium-silicate, pigments, micronized-quartz aggregates and specific admixtures.

APPLICATION FIELDS

Thanks to its excellent bonding, coating, transpiring and waterproofing properties, it is suitable for the finishing on concrete, both for old and new buildings, and any kind of plaster.

All the substrates on which it will be applied have to be finished for civil purposes, mineral base employable also on faced concretes and fibre-cements. In case of facade, avoid the application in different times and in substrates which are irregular.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

SUBSTRATES PREPARATION

Substrates have to be fine finished, regular, without detaching, crumbling or damaged parts, oil, grease, dust or saltpetre. Any eventual crumbling substrate need to be strengthened with Albusil Consolidante before the product application. Eventual patches have to be coherent with the kind of pre-existing material. Before the application of Super al Quarzo ai Silicati all the substrates have to be treated with the fixative Primar Sil or Albusil Fissativo of Plastimur srl.

PRODUCT PREPARATION

Dilute the product with clean water, each drums lt 13 with lt 4 of water, about the 30% for the first coat and the 18-23% for the second one.

APPLICATION

It is applied in two or more coats with brush or roller after the application of Primar Sil or Albusil Fissativo. To avoid eventual recovery or colours overlapping, mark with adhesive tapes (as gummed), surfaces you want to decorate. Immediately after the material laying, in order to obtain clean cut, it is suggested to detach the tape before the product hardening.
