Description

CHARACTERISTICS

PRIMAR SIL is a fixative with high penetrating power, ready to use, white or coloured, potassium-silicate based, suitable for the substrate treatment before the potassium-silicate coating’s placing. It is also suitable to equalize substrates absorption, useful in consolidating the surface to treat. It keeps the transpiration of the substrate. Being a product with high penetrating power, it has no film effect, so it doesn’t vary the water vapour’s diffusion. The product applied presents a rough surface.

APPLICATION FIELDS

Thanks to its consolidating power, it is employable for crumbling plasters, before the application of coatings potassium-silicate based; or as coat on lime or cementitious plasters.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

SUBSTRATES PREPARATION

Substrates must be clean, dry, cured, with no detaching parts, eventual paints or synthetic coatings have to be completely removed.

PRODUCT PREPARATION

PRIMAR SIL is ready to use.

APPLICATION

The application is to employ in temperatures between +5°C and +30°C through brush, roller or spray, in one coat. Eventual plaster patches have to be perfectly dry and cured. Protect from the heavy rain for the first 12 hours.
