Likestone Microcemento

Description

Likestone Microcemento is a breathable, colored, fine-thickness, single-component powder coating to be mixed with water, composed of cements, micronized quartzes, pigments and specific additives. Applicable on vertical and horizontal surfaces, thanks to its adherence, this building material is laid on surfaces such as tiles, plasterboard, gypsum, marble, fine screeds, in the thickness of a few mm achieving rapid renewal of spaces.

Fields of Application – Continuous Decorative Coating

Likestone Microcemento is a state-of-the-art, seamless, trowel-finished marble-effect coating ideal for both outdoor and indoor spaces. It is a continuous coating that can be applied on floors, walls, stairs, ceilings, swimming pools and even furniture; its versatility has led to its increasing presence in renovations of homes, commercial premises, gyms, industrial sheds, hotels, restaurants, etc.

Preparation of substrates

For the application of Likestone Microcemento, preparation is essential for a successful finish. Substrates must be clean, solid, dry, seasoned; free of grease, dust, strong rising damp, saltpetre and anything that makes it difficult for good adhesion to the substrate.
If applying on ceramic, marble and in any case very smooth substrates, it is necessary to apply an adhesion promoter such as RASOGRESS PLUS , having cleaned the surface very well beforehand; proceed with the application of self-levelling or smoothing with the drowning of reinforcing mesh to even out the background and proceed with the application of Likestone Microcemento.

Specification item

Realization of coating with Likestone Microcemento from Plastimur srl to be applied in two/three coats on floor and/or walls in the full thickness of about 2 mm, interspersed with drying about 10 hours per coat. When finished, protect the surface with Likestone Vernice N from Plastimur srl.
