Anti-mould Fixative for water-based Paintings

It is a film-product, sanitizing, anti-mould, formulated to reinforce and make the surfaces absorption uniform before applying the laying of synthetic paint. It is composed of special synthetic emulsions unsaponifiable, and specific admixtures against the moulds and fungus.

APPLICATION FIELDS

Thanks to its excellent bonding to any kind of plaster, it is suitable for both old and new buildings, on substrates cementitious, lime and cement based, cementitious skim coats, gypsum, plasterboards, fiber-cement pre-fabricated panels, cement blocks, and before the application of coloured paints synthetic and flexible.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

SUBSTRATES PREPARATION

Substrates to treat have to be solid, cured, with no oil, grease, release agents, dust, humidity and saltpetre traces. Eventual old paints detached need to be previously removed.

PRODUCT PREPARATION

Dilute the product with clean water. Dilute 1 lt Alburesil with 8-10 lt of clean water for the internal application; dilute with 4-6 lt for the external application.

PRODUCT APPLICATION

It is to apply in one or more coats, depending on the type of substrate’s absorption, through wool roller or brush. Let it dry for at least 5/6 hours basing on the temperature, before the application of the paint. Apply the product at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.
